It has been reported on the usenet lists for awhile. Like you, I don't worry about my own possession of guns too much, although getting caught will likely be a lifelong jail term. The Billery types are taking out hunting as a key in banning firearms and that is a shame. Humans breed past 6 billion and trash the planet in associated effects and blame hunters for wildlife decline. On the bright side Billery only had one butt ugly girl to add to the population. -g- OK, that was mean, I admit. Hunters are nearly the only rational ones that try to save wildlife, like the projects Ducks Unlimited has taken on for the past 40 years. I ran into a California rice farmer that got into a huge problem with some JOTTs. Seems ducks were breeding in his rice paddies so he instructed the combine operators to stop and go out and look around if a hen shot up, see if there was a nest and pick up the eggs. Then they put the eggs in an incubator, raised the chicks and let them go free. The JOTTs said this was some violation of law - better to run over the nest and crush the eggs. UFB
