Can anyone tell me how S3 can basically stay in the range of 18 - 18 1/8 for three and a half hours? In that time period there were only 3 trades that were out of that range. Every time the stock makes it to 18 1/8, there are sells to bring it down to 18 and then there are buys to bring it back up to 18 1/8, over and over again. Are there exactly the same number of buyers and sellers and they alternate calling their broker? I see this quite often with S3, maybe this means that in that time period there was not a lot of interest one way or another, in other words no information out to cause buying and no real information out that would cause selling. So the stock just sits there waiting for something to break it out either way.
