As for the companies themselves playing this game. How lovely, no one can go short so the exec's run the price up and just keep selling into it. Shareholder's=Bagholder's if
you're not an insider. Just another thing that will end badly.

Shareholders have always been bagholders since the exchanges were created.

The way its always worked

At the beginning ,

The company has only a dream , you have the money

at the end

the company has the money and you are left with only the Dream.

Not long ago many companies were promoting themselves vigorously and raising lots of money , so much money that they the industry as a whole was breaking records. All of it at rediculous prices and shabby prospectus reports with little detail and lots of whaffling. The retail investors bought it up as fast as they could and since the demand was so strong , insiders felt it their duty <gggg> to sell the retail investors their shares as well. (of course at the lofty levels) . We all know John Roth won't be crying the blues anytime soon. The SEC has now seen fit to relax rules to prevent a crash and protect the American dream ( the dreams motto is : it's better to shear a sheep many times rathe than killing it and shaving it only once. ) The American public has just received another close shear but will survive and get preped for another shearing in a few more years. The cycle starts anew.

Soon the companies will begin to sell the Dream once more
