JDN: I hear you. I had not seen Oregon given to anyone. I agree there is a problem with the networks seeking to call states too early. I don;t believe there is any political bias operating there. It's a competitive issue that really screwed them big time this year because they were all using the same VNS numbers (a cost saving measure) and not doing any independent exit polling. I don't know what the solution to this problem is. At this point I think it's a little paranoid to say the press is trying to push Gore thru. (I thought they called PA late, myself -- it was clear by 8 pm that Gore had taken the state, but they refused to call it for hours. The reason for that is that Tom Ridge and the Bush people were so optimistic.)M2
