Eric, what matters is totals, such as including the power station that burns coal or tar or methane to supply the electricity. You need to include the total costs. If your car does 500,000 km between battery swaps, that will be about $7,500 at 1.5c per km. I don't believe the whole car cost only $7,500 or that the electricity is free [it might be until Teslaa goes bust and the promise of free electricity is falsified]

Even at $140 a barrel, piston cars still were dominant, so without even calculating, it's obvoius that at $30 a barrel they are even more competitive.

What matters is reality, not what should happen.

Why do you think your 1.5c per mile has not converted the other 100 million car ownsrs? They don't like the problems and cost.
