Scott, hello, are you interested in PIPE? Yes I do own many stocks, a way to prevent losing when some go down. You diversify too, don't you? I have already sold most of my S&P stuff and hold cash until the market bottoms. Watch IBM today. The penny stocks are fun to play because you can make a good deal of money in a short time, but can also lose everything invested. You have already expressed the pain of losing in speculative stocks. Never invest in spec stocks unless you are willing to lose all your spec stock money. Talking about spec stocks, have you ever bought options? I'm just finishing up my taxes and I can't believe all the options that have expired worthless. Losing is just part of aggressive investing. One point I want to make to you is that you can never blame anyone for misleading you. Everyone is responsible for their own due diligence. These threads add to the possible available information, but should never be used to make investment decisions. I suspect that you have learned that recently. Good luck in your investing.
