My reasons for liking Iridium have nothing to do with GSTRF per se. Just one of those things when your get says go this way and you really can not attribute a direct cause. I have to say that I really have not looked at this sector for a good four to six months now.

Specifically, I just have a better feeling that based on its MOT heritage, Iridium will deal better with the complexities and unforseen events that will emerge for those involved in taking satellite-telecoms to the next level. I also believe that GSTRF is behind Iridium at this point in terms of whose system will be up and operational first. Lastly, GSTRF has a higher cost of capital from what I understand. They are paying over 11% on some of their securities which in my book would classify it as junk bonds\securities. I don't know the "real" reason why they could not find a way to borrow money at a lower rate.
