That author is not a "Power User" or he'd be really upset over the loss of the "Toolbars" folders in the taskbar that I use constantly with different folders for different things such as "Newsletter" or "Investments" or "Family" where you can have links to programs, Excel and Word files, etc...

I sent a note to MSFT that I will NOT upgrade to W11 until they fix this...

I bought a new laptop for my girlfriend this AM... and it is really nice hardware but the W11 software reminds me of how they dumb down requirements to get into college, etc.... they've dumbed down W10!!

  • Bring back toolbars in Windows 11 taskbar

I've seen people complaining W11 has no toolbar. I ran a VM and found out there is no toolbars either to add on the taskbar. It's a disappointment and I hope W11 will add it back; I use a toolbar folder like the classic windows xp did; i hate pinning icons to taskbar as you can never open more than one window with those icons. Also, I'm hating that you can't easily access the task manager from the taskbar anymore; typing in task manager from search menu is more cumbersome and less quick.

  • Windows 11 needs to allow custom Taskbar Toolbars (shortcuts) back onto the Taskbar please! :) It speeds up my work life tremendously. .

When I work, I don't just access programs (apps), but loads of Folders and Specific files. Having the ability to add these for Quick Access from the taskbar, speeds up work and life tremendously. It has always been a feature in Windows, until Windows 11. Please bring it back asap. I will really appreciate it.

I remember in Windows 7 I used something similar called "Dell Dock" that was great for my productivity. It took awhile for me to figure out the reason Dell didn't install it in their next generation PCs is the function was added to Windows 10. Now it is gone!
