Brian and all, this is a Wondeful Thread.

Although it appears to have gotten off to a rocky start in the beginning, it seems to have stabilized and MB's presence has justified its existence.

The signal-to-noise ratio in this thread is significantly higher than most of the other threads.

I've been following SI for several months, and I've got three lists. List 1 is "smart market guys" and I hope MB won't consider it specious flattery for me to note that he's a member of List 1. List 2 is "technical experts" of the engineering/technology sort, NOT the technical analysis/chartistry necromancers. Finally, there is List 3: "Morons/Dickheads" from which I won't name any names but most of you probably have, at least in your heads, a similar list with similar names.

I hope that I'll be able to make contributions here of value. I'll start by mentioning that JMAR, currently developing X-ray lithography to enable the next generation of semiconductor geometries, looks attractive. I'll add more info as I find stuff out--I'm planning to visit their labs in Chatsworth (?) at the first opportunity.

Regards to all,
Pietro
