Fact: Zell Miller's defense budget voting record was identical to Kerry's Fact: Zell Miller bald-faced lied to the nation and Republicans at their convention when he said Kerry had voted against weapons systems vital to the war on terror. Fact: Kerry voted FOR every single weapons system except the MX missile which anyone in his right mind was also against Fact: Bushies totally distorted Kerry's record by cherry-picking votes on VERSIONS of bills, not telling people that Kerry later voted for revised versions once waste and pork barrel szpending was cut out Fact: Bush's TV ads about these were also heinously dishonest Fact: Kerry's military strategies would have made us safer, Bush's have already made us weaker
