Off topic : competitors wins in other markets

CCUR is probably down because the overall tech stocks fell today. But some of their competitors were winning in some indirect markets this week that did not help

BE AV won a contract for United Airlines

C-Cube won an interesting STB contract for European Canal+
This is strange because last August Canal+ said they selected Pioneer (PIO)
with CUBE to supply some of the parts inside. They also have a press release
in which they selected 5 different STB suppliers just last December.
Regardless this could be another VOD opportunity down the road for CCUR.

Seachange reported earnings after the close. They are still in the red but better than expected.
The bad news for CCUR is that they said in the press release that they expect significant VOD
revenue in 2000. And I hope nobody concludes that CCUR has to wait. Although I am sure they expect
significant revenue in 2000 also.

Road shows for CCUR with Campus Televideo this spring.

PS: I would not read too much into CCUR employees possible move to Atlanta.
It could mean they are developing products for other markets beyond the current cable agreement including the next generation of STB.
