I2,

You are correct that Bob indicated on the radio show that 109 was a good buy point for SPY, but the official Marketimer recommendation was 110.

Now, if Bob would have scored a "direct hit" on the low (just under 110) like he did in January, do you think this thread would be using the official Marketimer number and regarding the radio number of 109 as unofficial?

It's interesting that to some on this thread whether or not a radio or television recommendation is to be accepted depends on whether or not it turns out to be a good recommendation. For example, some people think KMAG and STII, both NBR recommendations, are not official recommendations. KMAG looks like it might literally go to $0 and Bob has continued to recommend STII over the radio as recently as the last 2-3 months. However, DCAing into the chip-equipment group, a radio recommendation, this last month was an excellent recommendation to some...??????

If recommending DCAing into the chip-equipment group was a good recommendation, then recommending outright purchase of the chip-equipment group over and over on the radio throughout the Asian crisis was a bad recommendation. But even the idea of DCAing into the group is absurd. How can he be DCAing into the group if he never got out of the group in the first place?

Best Regards.
