Hi Judy,

I knew that about the bull put spread. I just didn't communicate it well -- didn't mean "at" with "by".

I saw your first CPQ post about 1-2 hrs. after I went long the in the moneys. Did you know it's illegal for any individual or institutional fund to have more than 8000 contracts on the same side on a security?
I wonder how that rule fits in with the 10,000 contract trade.

I like the entry points for CPQ. I like it long term. Merced should allow true INTC powered workstations to be created and power servers. All sun and hp now.

INTC. (good memory - wasn't that a '97 post)No i didn't protect INTC, I exited it - to hell with the tax consequences. at 89 on the way up. I missed 5 points or so but big deal. Intel's last rise really bothered me. There was nothing fundamentally different about the company from when it tanked in Oct. Estimates got dropped so it could beat by a penny or two. INTC didn't say anything encouraging either. All that crap about "stocks at 90 go to 100" no way. And I'm partially in again at 75 and will get more at 70 even though I think INTC will hit 60's. Someone once said all semi stocks are trading stocks except for INTC. I don't really trade or scalp it because I want to own it as an investment. I'll toss it when it gets way ahead of itself though.

Yes, I know you are not chris' age ... Mr. Walsh.

I can see the smilies even though you don't use them.

Let's see INTC blows up and TT starts to liquidate. We have about a week or two left. Will move 80 % to cash from trading longs. Time to hit from the top. Orcl tonight and lots of semies next week.

Thinking about shorting IBM. Seriously. Thoughts? They haven't grown revenue in a year and should get their margins squeezed. Is it time for the revenge of the fridge -- short GE? :)

Take care Ms. ***
