Looking at my credit card bill, it appears that I did pay $200 plus shipping for the 96 mb card. I bought so many things in a short period that it was hard to remember what they all cost - camera, flash card, USB adaptor, card reader, 32mb RAM addition, printer, and even a new system, since the accessories wouldn't work on the older system. In the final analysis, the digital photo system results in much more efficient storage (all on the hard disk instead of lots of envelopes of prints and negatives cluttering up all my drawers), and much less paper (I print only the ones I like, and it takes so long to get a really well cropped, photo with proper color balance that I haven't made many prints yet.
