What I am expressing is the thought that we do not always have to join hands, as long as we let each other be. Particularly with Christianity, which is the dominant religion in America and western Europe, it makes no sense to me that it is assumed it will be everywhere, even in the Parthenon, where it has no logical ties, even when other people practicing a different (admittedly minor) religion want to keep it sacred for themselves.

Why should Christianity be everywhere? I am absolutely positive that if the few people practicing the ancient Greek religion asked to hold their pagan service in a Christian church (not that they would), they would be laughed out of it. Why cannot both religions have their own places to worship?
