Mike, although I've always exclusively used one of your competitor's spreadsheet (started with Quattro 1.0, upgraded every time, now that same spreadsheet is in Corel WordPerfect Suite 7), and I've never used MS-Word (use WordPerfect), I absolutely can't imagine how boring computing life would be without MicroSoft. Win95 was the greatest gift to the IBM-compatible world that I can think of.

I absolutely agree with everything you say, 100%. Consumers do have choices. I do use IE, but don't use MS-Office. I have the integrated utilities in Win95, but bought and use Norton Utilities as my preferred set of utilities.

And yes, to repeat again: Netscape has the majority of the browser market. But of course they still aren't satisfied, because they are extremists, and would like to see MSFT run out of business. Jealousy breeds extreme emotions.
