some blame Bush for this. I submit to you it is the entire political class. This is absolutely correct...it is absurd to blame any one person/party for the failure of planning that has spanned decades. Many people are too absorbed in their own political persuasion to realize that we are all to blame. The solutions to Peak Oil are many and at hand. They only take political will to implement. I highly recommend Richard Heinberg's "Powerdown: Options and Actions for a Post-Carbon World" for analysis of this topic. Jesse
