MSFT Opens Door, Invites AAPL in.

>Rhapsody won't bite a huge chunk out of Microsoft's market. But let's
say one in 10 takes the challenge and goes with Rhapsody. That
one company has a six to 12-month head start on its competitors.
Now's it's running scalable applications, zero-administration NCs,
and customizing software to fit its needs and its customers' needs.
The other nine are squirming in their seat as they try to explain why
Company A is doing so much better than they are. The toughest
question they'll have to answer is why are they waiting for
something they hope will work when there's already something that
does.<

Sometimes I think MSFT and AAPL are like funhouse mirror versions of each other.

One makes *great* products and can't execute a business or marketing plan. The other can sell garbage to a landfill.

If I were God, (or Judge Jackson) I'd order MSFT to totally get out the the OS business and make them market the hell out of Rhapsody/OS8.
