In fact reducing our military presence in other countries increases the welcome other countries would have for wealthy and prosperous Americans, who don't threaten them capriciously. Subic Bay, and other locations are more eager for Americans, not less.

Since we left 11 years ago, Subic Bay has become a center for hot entertainment. Sure Americans are welcome there. The whores want everybody's money.
Ditto for Angeles City the former home of Clark AFB...Though it was closed by the volcano.

The demonstrations in Manila in the 80s and early 90s were a clearer statement of overall Philippino feelings.
