Eric, You might consider a service called BMI Lite. Nasdaq rt via satelite $104 per month. Comes with software that is functional with no frills. On a Pentium with enough memory you can receive quotes, run your web browser, do what you want. Or put the satelite feed on a second computer like I do and keep your other computer free for online stuff. Anyway, BMI does not advertise the BMI lite package but if you ask for it they will tell you about it. There is a substantial startup cost of about $500 for the dish and receiver unit. The satelite is rather large and ugly by todays mini dish standards. You can also add NYSE and American for a few bucks more a month. 800-367-4670. I don,t know who you use for a broker but if you have an account with Datek you can get rt quotes from them which are always accurate. MD
