There’s speculation here in Chicago that Obama couldn’t wait until 2016 for health reasons. Most people on the ground here think Obama has “The Slims”, and that his health will have deteriorated to the point that by 2016 he’d be a gaunt, walking skeleton with all the telltale signs of depending on daily anti-viral cocktails. Others — like me personally — believe Obama has Parkinsons and this, too, would have been far too obvious by 2016 for him to win a national election. He’s already disoriented, bewildered in public, and unable to function on even a basic level without a TelePrompTer. He’s either got “The Slims” or Parkinsons or a serious narcotics addiction…so the man who is the current president of the United States is either sick or a junkie and Democrats needed him in office as quickly as possible (so, Hillary be damned).
Did we actually catch a massive break as a country that Democrats were forced to implement their planned Obama presidency too quickly…pushing the button on this insanity in 2008 instead of 2016 because Obama wouldn’t be healthy enough to do this eight years later?
When the books are written on the last four years, I think it will be clear that most of what Democrats tried to shove through couldn’t have been done if the President was white…because racialist demagoguery was key to making a lot of these things happen. From 2008 through 2010 or so, it was nonstop screams of “If you don’t support Obama, you are a racist!”. Democrats who weren’t leftists (and there used to be some of these in the party) had to go along with whatever Obama wanted because they, too, would have been declared racists for not supporting him. Hence, that Christmas Eve 2009 vote for Obamacare in the Senate where not a single Democrat read the bill or understood what it would do to the country…but they all voted for it anyway. Democrats needed a black president to make that happen, because only the threat of being called racists could make all Democrats in the Senate abandon their constituents and their duties as elected officials and vote for something they never read and didn’t understand.
At the time, Democrats danced around laughing and cheering at what they had done.
They weren’t cheering when the Midterm elections happened in 2010, however.
And they won’t be cheering in three weeks either.
The days of wine, roses, and using false accusations of racism to get whatever they want are coming to an abrupt end when voters’ anger at the party erupts on November 6th.
‘Those ninnies…those dummiess…are all getting what they deserve,” is what I imagine my grandmother would have said. She was a lifelong Democrat who had photos of John F. Kennedy on her walls, but like Kennedy himself she would not have recognized the Democrat Party of today and would have probably switched to being a Republican at this point…much like her grandson (that’s me) did during the “Golden Age of Hope and Change” as well.
