I pointed out that those countries have a more socialistic orientation than the rest of Europe. Do those governments own the means of production? Nope. Do they have rather robust social welfare systems? Yep. Pro 's contention is that Europe is in recession because of socialism instead of austerity measures. Which would require magic to be the case.
