Fred, I wouldn't be concerned about Iomega lowering the Zip price to $99 as long as they can maintain or increase their profit margin. However, I just don't see how they can lower the price by 25% and lower their costs by 25% in one quarter. These kinds of economies of scale take a little time to develop and I just don't think Iomega can do it going from the 2nd quarter to the 3rd. . . Believe me, I hope I'm wrong. Maybe I've over estimated the size of the rebate, maybe alot of people won't send in for it, maybe (probably) Iomega has managed to cut some costs on the Zip, I don't know. I just feel that alot of us have been living in the "long term" for awhile now and I think we're going to have to do that for awhile longer.
