doug, on the business side, linux and java/other thin client may reduce the client requirement for windows as well on the other hand it may not be necessary to load linux on clients calculations of projected revenue posted earlier may not have taken this into consideration legacy systems, ERP, etc...may also not be able to be moved to linux and have clients based on windows, java, etc... this implies either a considerable 'switch over' period or a market lockout for linux in general, RHAT of course is part of linux market has anyone addressed this aspect of the market dynamic? ynot ;)
