About forgeries and foundations Piltdown Man The Piltdown forgery was an example of how Science checks on itself. Scientists love to challenge each other and uncover quackery. Then they study the hoax to prevent the same mistake again. For example, look how carefully the hoax is documented at tiac.net Scientists are not trying to hide anything. Archaeopytrx More Creationist dishonesty here. There is no reason to belive that the fossil is a hoax. One reason the Piltdown man forgery was uncovered because it did not fit in with the other hominid fossils found! It was inconsistent with the other evidence, it was not the only piece of evidence as the logic of the Creationist deceptionist leads one to believe.
