<< Now if (formerly) profitable heavy users opt for unltd and others stay with 9.95 or 4.95 that means deeper red ink - AOL did not wage and lose another PR battle without a reason. So why the 4 pt pop on such negative news?>>

Don't forget the timed charges kick in after 3 hours on the $4.95 deal and after 10 hours on the $9.95 deal.

However, my guess is the main reason for the +4 pop is short covering on the CSRV news. The most visible, long-standing, well-funded competitor that is out in the market offering proprietary on-line service just threw in the towel on the consumer side of the business. So it's now ISP's (including RBOCs and AT&T) and MSN.

And ~maybe~ Disney. The earlier comment about the family with kids market going to Disney *definitely*.... I must *definitely* take issue with. That was the market WOW! was after, right? A lot of adults won't be moving their Net access relationship just for the family 2-10 year old, and the 11+ market prefers adult fare anyway, IMO. That's my survey of 1. Anybody else want to weigh in...?

Good investing to all.

Brian
