The Chechen cause has been hijacked. The surviving hostages say the terrorists were Ingush. Whatever the terrorists said, this atrocity was done by someone who wants a war between Ossetia and Ingushetia. Besayev, whose goal is a Caucasian caliphate, wants such a war.

Interesting points, Nadine, which I had not yet heard.

What do you make, however, of the terror within Russia, like the theater event? Can't possibly be in the interest of anyone who wants to establish a Caliphate to needle the Russian bear.
