Perhaps OT. I have documents on wordstar, wordstar professional 2000, Decmate II, wordperfect 5.1 for dos, wordperfect 6.0 and 6.1 for windows. I have wordperfect 8 for windows but don't use it and can't figure out quickfinder for it, how to reload the software which is on a cd rom. The computer doesn't recognize there is a cd rom anymore. I don't have a hard copy manual. It is electronically on the cd rom -but somehow didn't take to my hard drive when the manufacturer, Tiger, or I originally installed it. I have trouble dealing with documents from other wordprocessors.
When I get e-mail with attachments, I get a message to download them and then they are in mime. I usually have trouble demiming them and keeping the formatting and avoiding at least some gibberish.
My internet connection is AOL. Supposedly, I have netscape and internet explorer. What is the solution. I would prefer to get documents electronically and be able to read and modify them in my wordprocessor.
I have problems modifying documents I get from a court's website.
