What happens when all of the higher income people are unemployed? Who will Mr. Obama tax then. All it takes is one person in a family to lose their job for the couple's income to be cut in half.

If a single person looses a job then there is no spouse to give monetary support to that person.

My observation is that the so called higher income people are rapidly becoming less so. A massive amount of wealth has been destroyed in the past two years since Obamah became the nominee for President and the elected President.

Obama can tax the movie stars, tv personalities, the million dollar athletes, but even they have personal problems that can do in their fortunes.

Obama is being unrealistic------we need this health care/medical discussion to go to the people for comment in a National Forum not on the internet----.

Let the people come and testify in person or write letters to be submitted. Let them say what changes are needed if any in a National Conference organized at the local level to the national level.

This is the one aspect of the futurist Alvin Toffler that I do agree with---a ' participatory Democracy of the people'

What I see is a leaner, sophisticated system that eliminates the Federal "Government involvement for the majority of Americans in medical decisions and services. Eliminate the need for a government beauracracy to manage people's medical needs freeing the Federal Government to focus on the number one mandate they have----------defense of the nation.

Sure, closing of a beauracracy would cause government employees to loose jobs-----they have skills so let them go to the private sector, most would likely be absorbed by similar corporations.

Obama and his people are not thinking outside of the socialist box-----I do wonder if he will ever get a light bulb idea and recognize that he is on the wrong path with Medical Insurance and structure of the medical system.

Doubtful.
