Since most of the higher income people are small business owners, and since small business expands by using profits (income) to grow, it is not so much a matter of there being no high income people as every dollar taken in taxes from small business owners is a dollar less to spend on salaries, equipment, etc. which is where the growth comes from. This is a stupid and irresponsible thing to do especially in a recession.
