I mean't benchmark wise. Production wise and die size wise, AMD is no match for Intel, at least not yet. Intel is the new value leader! <G>
Interestingly, the K6-2 had the die size advantage over the Celeron and still Intel, with the help of AMD production glitches, manuvered around it. Same with the Pentium II-III vs the K6-III.
