LOS ANGELES, Jan 24, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Go OnLine Networks (OTCBB: GONT) and Panoscan Inc. have completed the first project in their on-going agreement to co-develop effective e-commerce imaging to enhance sales volume.
Go OnLine chose the high quality product category from Vera's Retreat of Bel Air, Calif. for this first endeavor, because the presentation of the company's broad based cosmetic line allowed for the use of a variety of interactive imaging techniques.
The home page of the site includes Panoscan's breakthrough panoramic imaging technology. The lobby of Vera's Retreat located in the Beverly Glen section of Los Angeles, was captured in a high definition, 360 degree image. The image was then used to create a VR movie with imbedded hotspots that transport the viewer to different product categories. Other effects include moving showcases of product, product descriptive audio, and image effects.
