(If I can toot my horn I predicted a touch screen long before the iPhone came out. I realized the real impediment to shrinking a device is the control surface and the feedback area, not the hardware. I realized that the only solution was a touch screen.) Yes, I distinctly remember your prediction, so you definitely get credit in my book. I also distinctly remember vehemently disagreeing with the appeal of a touchscreen based interface. While I stand by my personal preference for tactile buttons and one-handed operation (I'm still perfectly satisfied with my Moto Q), there's no doubt that Apples implementation of touchscreen interface works great, for some.
