OK my last comment on this:

> So they feared much worse than what is happening to Muslims now and they never considered flying planes into buildings to murder 3000 Americans

They also were born and raised here in America. I don't think it is right to compare someone who's lived here for more than 5 years with a train terrorist who came in only to carry out his mission.

The concept of "sleeper cells" is not new, but it has rarely if ever worked. The longer the so called sleeper agents live in the society and interact, the more they relate to the people and the less likely that they act against people.

Even when you look at much easier situations to handle agents, say a FBI agent who is deep undercover in a mafia family for a couple of years, keeping the agent completely loyal remains a major concern.

In the year and half since 9/11, I am still to hear about any sleeper cells being discovered or any terrorist networks we have found. Could it be that Muslims are not the homicidal maniacs that the administration makes them to be and that we gave too much power to government and lost hard gained liberties for nothing?
