wouldn't the rest have to follow? --------- Operators are absolutely anal in regard to only adopting technologies that have been standardized - and for Europe this would be by 3gpp and/or imt2000. 1x isn't. 1xevdo should be later this year (imt2000). 1xevdv will be asap (the specification is under construction) - and it will function with both 1.25mhz and 5mhz spectrum slices - the 5mhz option will conform to Euro plans... ben
