There have been a number of articles on businesses cutting back employee hours. They can do that w/o cutting production and revenue by moving to a part time employee base. Colleges do produce revenue for the college. Check out layoffwatch.com. As for an example of a company cutting back some of their employee hours: articles.orlandosentinel.com
