Has everyone but me used the stock quote feature in Google search?
I was blown away by it just a moment ago. I searched on Apple, Inc., and when the results window filled, I noticed the top entry was thus:
Apple, Inc. Official site of Apple, Inc. Stock quote for AAPL www.apple.com/ - 13k - Cached - Similar pages iPod+iTunes - www.apple.com/itunes/ Find a Reseller - www.apple.com/buy/locator/ The Apple Store - store.apple.com/ Get a Mac - www.apple.com/getamac/ More results from www.apple.com »
"Stock quote for AAPL" was a link, so I clicked it. The text slid down smoothly inserting more text and an intraday chart.
"COOL!" I thought.

So, I clicked on the chart. A new window opened on Google Finance beta with a large 3 day chart of AAPL together with news headlines mapped to the chart! And, the chart is dynamically flexible. You can stretch it to include the period you're interested in.
Done! This is it. Why go anywhere else for financial data? |
