"If you want to have a defense apparatus that dwarfs that of the rest of the world then you need to pay for it. " I don't want that. I want us to quit being "the world's last superpower". I sick of paying for it, with crappy healthcare, and taxes that fund the overseas corporate operations protected by our bloated military. Our military doesn't keep America safe - it protects the overseas operations of American corporations. But we citizens PAY for it, not the corporations.
