Mark, re options: caveat - I'm not into options. The Dec 18. issue
of IBD has an article on p A19 saying that option players are
most often wrong. A chart shows the #puts/#calls ratio and the claim
is made that a high ratio (>0.8) is bullish. The ratio since April
only rarely and briefly rose over 0.8. Less than 0.4 is considered
bearish. This is for the whole market - not for individual stocks.

I have neither experience nor opinion on this. Several experts
are quoted as saying they use the ratio (published daily by IBD)
together with other indicators.
