David, thank you for your constructive criticism.

This thread is one of the few resources for Apple friendly investment talk. Our love and enthusiasm for the product causes us to barely notice when we drift. It is helpful to have a timely reminder.

I was disappointed when my recent post #6839 questioning 'change of control' SEC filing did not generate interest. Certainly there cause to question a dual purpose to Apple's tightening the budget belt, certain decisions and falling share price.
The Internet World trade no-show decision may prove to have been a significant clue. Another, the comments made by self-appointed (sic) spokesperson, Ellison, in his Harvard speech.

Am I the only one hearing the loud knock of opportunity? Outside this thread, I hear that no company would want to touch Apple Computer, "what for?" Is this true?

Those of you who know which companies would benefit most from a tie-in with Apple could probably piece together a convincing scenario.
The unthinkable is now becoming more palatable. Is it out of the question to imagine 'Apple Computer...a subsidiary of IBM'?

If it takes a marriage for apple to excel, this is the only partner I can think of that makes me smile.

Bell
