One other thing: you must know yourself. I have a weakness, and it is that I can't stomach holding a loss when I feel like I'm counting on the greater-fool theory to bail me out. If I take that position, I will nearly always sell at the first sign of trouble, or I can't sit still long enough to make it worth the risk. I know this is a weakness for me, so I avoid trading in that mode. I respect those of you that can do it - I wish I had that talent, but I don't. BC
