Permit me to be Richards echo in welcoming you aboard. Speaking for
all of us here, we thank you for your kind remarks.
All the companies you mention I'm somewhat familiar with. I have a
narrow coverage of oil & stock issues which amounts to Toronto &
Alberta listed companies. My focus is on Canadian domestic oil & gas
producers, further narrowing my coverage.
Others at this site are into Canadian international oil & gas producers.
I must add they are motivating me to leave my neighborhood. Both
Seven Seas and Int'l Pete, along with a few others, do interest me.
John Stopforth keeps a keen eye on the internationals. Richard is
into small service and oil related companies and has found a couple of
gems. He recognized Anadime as a good investment early on. When
he first mentioned it to me, I told him a nickle An-a-dime wouldn't buy
me a cup of coffee (per share price). Shares are now Anadime 4X.
David Peever is also on top of the industry. I think of him as "Our man
On The Scene In Calgary). He just attended a petroleum symposium
in Calgary and gave us some feedback. Stak is really Scott, and he has
been coming up with some pretty good questions. And then there is
Bobby, she stated this whole thing off. She's a ticket tape reader with
interest in U.S. listed companies. I can't get her to budge into Canadian
listed companies. However, her list of followings are superb. Tried to get
her to check into United Meridian @ $12.00/share way back when. It
was only U.S. based company I ever mentioned. There are numerous
others who participate with us, to many to continue on for mention.
They kid me about Kerm's Korner. I must admit, I like to ramble on about
the Canadian oil & gas industry. I don't hype companies, but I do like to
single out my favorites. Since you are into precious metals and mining,
you may come across geologists with background also in petroleum. If
you happen to know one, encourage him/her to pay us a visit. in fact,
that applies to anyone that may be interested in Black Gold.
