I've had it come up quite a few times lately on other people's computers. The system file check on my PC only requested the XP disc, not XP sp3.

I mentioned to you a few days ago wanting to do a clean install of XP when I had time. I'm hoping the corrected system files will eliminate an occasional hesistation that's driving me nuts. Both memory and hard drive diagnostics came up clean so neither of them is the issue.

My laptop triple boots XP, Vista and Win 7. I'm waiting for Windows 7 sp1 to come out to replace my XP desktop PC with a Windows 7 PC. I don't think Win 7 sp1 debut will be a big event but I like to have every version of Windows for diagnostic reasons.
