Use of EOI Offshore entity
f. On or about February 1, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT and DANIEL MARK PORUSH caused a British citizen, who was a relative of the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT's wife, to execute a fiduciary agreement relating to her purported ownership interest in European Overseas Investments Ltd. ("EOI”), a St. Vincent corporation.
g. On or about February 2, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT opened a bank account at UBP in the name of EOI ("the EOI/UBP bank account”).
h. On or about March 27, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT and DANIEL MARK PORUSH caused four individuals to transport secretly approximately $385,000 in United States currency on a flight from JFK to Geneva Airport.
i. On or about April 7, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT and DANIEL MARK PORUSH caused approximately $200,000 to be deposited into the EOI/UBP bank account.
j. On or about May 16, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT and DANIEL MARK PORUSH caused two individuals to transport secretly approximately $220,100 in United States currency on a flight from JFK to Geneva Airport.
k. On or about July 12, 1994, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT and DANIEL MARK PORUSH caused approximately $667,700 to be deposited into the EOI/UBP bank account.
1. In or about the second half of July 1994, at his home in Westhampton Beach, New York, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT provided an individual with approximately $500,000 in United States currency.
m. In or about the second half of July 1994, in Westhampton Beach, New York, the defendant JORDAN ROSS BELFORT provided an individual with approximately $25,000 in United States currency.
n. On or about August 4, 1994, DANIEL MARK PORUSH provided approximately $200,000 in United States currency to an individual in the parking lot at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center, Queens, New York. |
