<Are the expected sawmill acquisitions/manufacturing in Brazil?>
For 2 1/2 years madera has wanted this sawmill/and plywood operation. This will be a cash offer. This is a good road //covered operation from mill to ship. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, <So the sale of the property would be in U.S. dollars and the purchases would be made in REAL currency so as to buy at a substantial discount?>
To advance the sale of the property, could it be possible this is a USA Non Profit Org buying the property w/Madera replant the tree charges to be paid by the buyer. To get 96 million the buyer could only be as I expect. IMHO, If sold, this land would have more restriction as to what is cut and not cut. But , if the Non Profit Org deeds the land to the Indians, the indians can cut timber with no restrictions - .Its a circle. I hope Madera hold the old sawmill, because this could happen by a 80%+ chance.
That is one way to sell the land, as long as Madera makes money, ................................................ <This on the surface seems to be agreat move to increase revenue growth at a much faster clip then selling trees at a controlled clip.>
This is what the reservation idea was designed to do. 1. Stop the asia from clear cutting private land and get them on the reservation. 2. Faster to move the tree to market. 3. World Bank acceptance.
