MCRL reports earnings next Friday (1/23). The report should give us some indication of SMTC's Q4. I have no reason to believe that the quarter was bad. On the contrary, I'd be surprised if SMTC doesn't report a really good quarter. I'm expecting $0.29 (post-split), compared with $0.20 (post-split) last year. The year-over-year earnings increase should be 80%.

For FY1999, my estimate is $1.37 (post-split). SMTC is trading at less than 15 times my forward estimate.
