But the point is that Taiwan has invested in the Communist regime. If Taiwan invests there, how bad can they be? And your posts are showing that foreign investors (mainly conservative, patriotic businessmen) were flooding money into communist China. If they can't enforce contracts, they will stop doing it. But, apparently, communism there has been a non-issue to them. Fix the legal system (maybe all disputes can be heard by English-trained judges in Hong Kong under what remains of British law), and the business community is all too happy to resume shipments of electronics and machinery.
