More rightwing lies about Wilsons. Plame was a covert WMD agent for the CIA. No question about it. Once Novak outed her though, her covert career was over, as were the careers of all other CIA personnel she'd worked with. After that she submitted to a photo for a magazine. Before that she couldn't have and wouldn't have.

Not only was she covert and had her cover blown, but any and all entire operations she worked on in the past were blown. This is exactly why the CIA demanded a special prosecutor, and got one. If she hadn't been covert they would not have gotten a prosecutor.

Also, Wilson was a Bush Sr. appointee who gave Bush-Cheney money in 2000. He is a moderate, a hero, the last man out of Baghdad and an expert on African affairs as well as Iraq and WMD. Sure he backed Kerry, any smart man would, but only after the Bush White House outed his wife and smeared him.

The rightwing is going around lying saying he's some dilettante liberal drug-taker. Total lies. Wilson was the one who saved the US hostages from Saddam right before the Gulf War began. He is much more of a hero than anyone in the White House. He was a favorite of Bush Sr. and a real American patriot, as is his wife, though her actions remain secret.
