check out the capabilities of a Windows Mobile browser. i agree Windows Mobile is absolute garbage. if that is the comparison, iPhone/Touch is fantastic. great for Apple doing so well in comparison to a product (Windows Mobile) that does not even deserve to exist. but all i really care about is whether the iPhone/Touch can replace my Macbook when i'm away from home for surfing/viewing web pages and PDFs. on that basis, iPhone/Touch is sorely lacking. maybe it's not important to many users, but to me, the main use of a web-enabled computing device is to quickly and easily read and access multiple documents. on this count, iPhone/Touch is still not ready for prime time in my book.
