The recession has not started, officially. Even unofficially, sectors other than tech are doing well. For example, energy, retail, housing. I think there is a good chance that the first quarter of 2001 will be the first recession quarter. So if this is a short two quarter recession, the bottom should be in around end of March, beginning of April.
